Integrated WASH and community resilience initiative
The initiative seek to strengthen hygiene promotion in households, schools, health facilities, and communities, including handwashing, safe water handling, menstrual hygiene management, and disease prevention. Capacity building will target community structures, local authorities, schools, and faith leaders to manage WASH interventions and respond to public health risks. By integrating health, nutrition, protection, and climate-sensitive approaches, the initiative will reduce disease burden and strengthen community resilience.
Our aim is to develop integrated WASH and community resilience initiative focused on expanding access to safe water, sanitation, hygiene, and sustainable community systems. Soft WASH interventions will focus on behavior change, hygiene promotion, community mobilization, capacity strengthening, governance, and inclusive WASH practices to improve health outcomes, strengthen local ownership, and ensure sustainable use of WASH services.
